Case Study – Dished up on a plate

Ready Meals

Project Work

ready meals

The Scope and project complexities:

Our client is a large food producer who wanted to introduce a ready meals line into their existing factory. The new line was required to meet projected sales forecasts. It was also a new venture and process for our client.

In addition to installing a new line into the existing processing facility, it also had to handle multiple food materials through a number of different processes and bring them together into a well-presented, finished and packaged product.

The Result:

Our first task was to design a full line that would integrate seamlessly into the existing building.

We performed an extensive review to select the best equipment to suit product configurations and the presentation of the finished meals within the containers.

We removed and redesigned an existing spiral freezer, removed and relocated equipment from a USA factory to New Zealand and configured the new line.

New services including refrigeration, ventilation, air, water, steam and CIP system were also designed before installation and commissioning.
