New Process Facilities

Project Work

case study french fries

The Scope and project complexities:

Our client is a leading New Zealand producer of quality frozen foods supplying to service and retail markets.

They needed a new French Fry manufacturing line and associated services to be installed and operational to meet order demands for the coming season.

Aside from the scale of the project, it required designing and developing a production line that took an irregular raw material through multiple processes to a finished packaged product ready for distribution.

The Result:

We completed the design and layout of the new line incorporating new and existing equipment.

New components, equipment and machinery were sourced as well as site crews for installation.

The processing line included:

  • Complete process line from raw product infeed to packing.
  • Bulk oil system including heated and jacketed lines
  • An ante-foam dosing system
  • Chemical foaming systems
  • A centralised water blasting system

We coordinated all wiring, software and control systems and commissioned the processing line.
