Case Study – A pet project

Process Facility Upgrades

Project Work

a pet project

The Scope and project complexities:

Our client is a household name producing trusted brands of pet food.

They required a new pet food processing facility to be set up to meet growing demands. The new factory had to be incorporated into an existing processing building.

The building presented us with physical constraints in designing the new line. It also needed to be upgraded to meet food hygiene requirements. Our client also wanted us to improve the overall efficiency of the plant.

The Result:

We redesigned and reconfigured the existing building to accommodate new equipment and process flaws.

Once complete, we were able to design processing lines and associated services that made optimal use of the space.

We then carefully investigated and selected equipment that was proven, reliable and would ensure maximum up-time.

The multi-million dollar line was installed and commissioned including a full review of the refrigeration requirements for increased factory output.
